... had a couple of drinks, we wisely go in search of food. (Harder than you might think). Eventually after much walking through miles of shops and casinos,we manage to find a bar that also sells food. After we eat, we go in search of casino foyers to ogle the displays, but we must be looking in all the wrong places because although they're all lavish, there's nothing we want to see.

The streets are jam-packed with people and this is a party ...

... We then stopped in the local farmers market on our way out, which was incredible we wish we had something as nice close to us at home. The market had lovely fresh fruit, bakery, food ingredients (pasta, sauces, pickles etc) we brought some very nice strawberries. There was also a BBQ set up outside and families would chill out for the afternoon it was a cool farmers market. We then drove again and came across a place called Morro bay late ...

... clear blue/green lagoons, tropical climate, Exotic Cocktails, Great Barrier Reef, Sun Bathing .. Did I mention Cocktails? Then after we are suitable relaxed, suntanned and hydrated we fly down to to Southern Queensland to the incredible City of Surfers Paradise. More Beaches, Sunshine, theme parks, Shopping Meca, and lets not forget visting the locals.. Kolas, Kangaroos, Crocodiles ...

... watched a few movies on HBO before falling asleep at close to 9pm. We had the windows open in the room and the salty sea breeze came in through the windows, which made sleeping so much more pleasant. February in Santa Barbara is just cool enough to require a sweater at night, but warm enough in the day to enjoy the sunshine. I can see why so many retirees chose to live here.


The next morning, we woke up by 8am and ...

... There wouldnt have been anywhere to sit and wait for our call to put our bags through. I think that they dont encourage anyone to wait around to say goodbye. as there wasnt even a coffee shop.
Anyway our flight was good and we got some rest.Ebony was waiting for us in Sydney so we bought a coffee and headed off home. The coffee was very very good. Home was even better. So so dry. but fortunately not too hot.
Now where to next?
