We had the honour of being invited to the Royal St. George's College 50th anniversary bash by my former boss Steve, then combined a Toronto furniture run with a Go Freddie Go concert at the old Chick n Deli so we are still in touch with the Toronto crowd. The spring has also provided lots of opportunities to reconnect with our old Ridley pals.
We even managed to squeeze in one more consulting job to top up the travel fund ...

homes have great character, being built with shingles, something that is not
seen back home. As the shingles age
they transgress from the blond wood look to become silver/grey. Well I have to say that most of the homes in
the USA are of timber exterior walls compared to our brick veneer homes.

It was a 30 minute drive, but it was early and we were keen! Upon inspection of their website however, when we were almost there, we discovered they were closed until May. In light of this, our drive turned into a pre-dinner ‘splore of some more of The Cape.
