We went to the Tame Otter which is a Vintage Inn for a nice lunch and then I went to the supermarket with my mum while Carrie had the fun of giving my dad and grandparents a trip down the canal.

Apparently the biggest problem for Carrie was trying to control my dad who just wanted to go rather fast and steer into the overhanging willow trees to make his parents have to duck out of the way. But she survived without my dad crashing, ...

... Time for lunch with Jim and Val, they own Rose Cottage where Mary's dad was born and lived in his childhood. Great to catchup. Back to our hotel, my plan was to go to the bistro, have a little drink and write my blog. Got the first part done okay. We stayed there for the evening meal then off to bed early so we could pack and hopefully be in time for breakfast tomorrow before heading off to Cadbury World then Thame. ...

... to Charlbury where Adam lived and worked and lived with Tom for 16 months. Charlbury is a place of beauty. It has large estate homes and the Earl of Leicester used to live here and he died here. Tom lives in a converted barn that was built in the mid 1600's. He has done a beautiful job of making it into a beautiful home and made us very welcome. ... characters befriended Claudia under some guise that they were friends of ours. HA, they are sneaky and ingratiated themselves with Barbara & Giacomo too. Not to be outdone they turned up in their "orto", veggie patch and ran amok amongst the tomatoes. Red shoes for Noddy with squishy tomatoes nearly spoilt the aperitifs.
