Yesterday we drove down to Laverstoke Mill which is now the Bombay Sapphire Distillery. We had watched a Megafactories documentary on the restoration of the mill and loved getting to see it and to learn about making the gin. After enjoying our riding hack so much on Friday, today Craig, Aaron and Chloe had a riding lesson at the same stables. This afternoon I went to the Birmingham Christmas markets with Angus, Becka, Suzannah and Alistair. On arrival we got a cup of mulled wine and a German sausage. ... characters befriended Claudia under some guise that they were friends of ours. HA, they are sneaky and ingratiated themselves with Barbara & Giacomo too. Not to be outdone they turned up in their "orto", veggie patch and ran amok amongst the tomatoes. Red shoes for Noddy with squishy tomatoes nearly spoilt the aperitifs. ... on the towpath side and boats moored 3 deep on the off side alongside Heyford Wharf, when I saw a boat just pulling out infront of us. As it was directly in front I put the engine in neutral to avoid a collision and to my relief it pulled back in again.
