    Lee Vining was much smaller than we had expected given its proximity to the eastern entrance to Yosemite plus Mono Lake and Bodie Ghost Town. According to Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lee_Vinin g,_California), the population was 222 in 2010 and most of the town relies on tourism.
