Last day in Cardiff so everything was packed away in our "dog box" hotel. Jo-Ann declared that we would pay a little extra for the next hotel so that we would get a kettle to make a cup of tea. The girls had misplaced another door swipe card, like in Bath. Later in the day Amy discovered both in the very bottom of her carry bag. We laughed that she was trying to collect souvenirs.

... in two. So I was pleased to find a replacement though David, my cousin, will be interested to know it cost 30.00. I think some of the cost is because it is hinged so it folds away neatly.

In another attempt to pass time I caught a bus to Dorchester. I have been to the town before and have liked it because of its history, its setting and its interesting little shops. This time I went there specifically to buy road maps of Spain, Portugal ...

... a rail-bridge. It was teeming with vendors selling exquisite pastries, chocolates, cheeses, breads and beautiful and some unrecognizable fruits and veg, beautiful local handmade crafts along with stalls where you can pick up lunch while wandering around. Knowing anything we bought had to be eaten or lugged around for the next 31/2 months sure put a damper on my retail therapy!! It's here ...
