... room of the home on April 12, 1945. The last stop is a view of the painting being done which was never finished. Some years later the artist (Miriam Elizabeth Shoumatoff) finished the portrait from memory and got it almost exact, except that she painted the tie blue and not red as in the original. Pretty good memory after so many years.
The town was cute, some nice shops and lots of bikers having a get-together! A fun day.
Year 2, Day 121 Calloway Gardens. Unfortunately not the most beautiful time for us to be going to the gardens, but it was fun to see.
