Charleston, Old Charleston, is a wonderfully preserved and historically important city in South Carolina. Our friend Ian is a Charleston native and we could have had no better host for our visit. Ian knew the history of every building in the old town. Indeed, his own house had a wonderful history. ... of stops that day! Since shopping is not a priority with us, we were able to skip all that and just enjoy the quaint downtowns and all the other sights. We both enjoyed the whole trip - so many different experiences!
Here are a few unique things that we noticed:
"Dunkin' Donuts" rules - except in NYC. Even small towns had a Dunkin' Donuts.
"Rotary" is a roundabout but I am not ...
