... in Adolphustown. Unfortunately, when we got there the obelisk monument was laying on its side with caution tape around. It had been taken down to fix the base which was crumbling. ... work the sugar plantations and mills and there are just a few remnants left from that era. Unfortunately we didn't have enough time to really look around so maybe we will get back one day.
It is pouring rain again as we head up to Shirley Heights, a fort that protected the british from possible invasion. The remains are in an ideal location overlooking the main channel and the view is amazing.

... queue was unreal and it took us nearly 3 hours standing in line to get our keys to our room and able to board the ship. The excuse we were told was that there were so many visas to check as this was peopled by folks from all over the world. Believe me this is truly an international group. We finally set sail at 7:15pm and the sight of the full shining on the sea as we heading south was spectacular.
We had an early supper as we didn't have lunch and then it was lights out.
