... real maple syrup farm. Even with our trusty GPS we had several false stops and starts. Finally we arrived at a real gem of a farm - The Shelburne Farm. This was an amazing non-profit organization that operated this large maple syrup/cheese farm right on the shore of Lake Champlain.

After leaving the Amish we had a massive drive up to Vermont, we didn't actually make it all the way and had to stay in a Walmart in New York state. We did not realise Vermont was quite so far away!
