    ... tours you can take. We learned how Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream came to be and about how they mix the ingredients and the whole ice cream making process. But the best part was the free sample at the end of the tour followed by the big cone or cup we purchased to eat. YUM YUM.

    ... varietal grapes too, not just berries and apples and native Concord grapes other cold hardy fruits. Apparently it’s not just a global warming thing. They tell me researchers have been developing grape hybrids that are more cold tolerant and still make wines that taste good, the University of Minnesota actually being the biggest center of the research. That’s something I didn’t expect to learn in Vermont!
