... That was totally cool!

On the way back to the campsite we saw some cactus (Really? Yeah, in Delaware!) and a couple of whitetail does. Once back at the campsite, we had a very late dinner of instant potatoes and canned chicken. The girls turned down my offer of smores, but I totally gobbled some up.

After the girls went to sleep, Heather ad I sat by the campfire and listened to the crickets and the surf (over a mile away) ...

... over for dinner and headed back to the house to get showered and dinner ready. We decided to have some venison shish kabobs and crabs for dinner along with mom's potato salad, macaroni salad, and pasta salad. We had a great time hanging out played Catch Phrase.

We went back to the house and got cleaned up and then headed out to the Dogfish Head Brewery Tour. We called and they didn't have any openings for any tours, but Mr. Engle said that they went before and just showed up and were able to hope in on a tour. ... one of her students was killed a couple of years ago and another was raped this year. She has therapy herself for the death of her student and is applying for jobs in northern Delaware to get away from this particular area. Tomorrow she is going for a job interview so I have this wonderfully large house to myself.

I go to bed in my own room, with a double bed and en suite, how perfect. I sleep like a baby.
