    ... seven days which gives us unlimited access to busses and trains. We have used this continually to visit: Chrysler Building, Empire State Building, Central Station, Flat Iron Building and Times Square.     ... it to the Upper West Side aiming to get to a large-shoe shop that had been recommended to me as having wide fitting shoes. Alas they didn't have any dress shoes that suited but I picked up a good pair of runners and a pair of casuals. The aim of the day was to take a Circle Line River cruise but shoes took too long and so we headed to the Central Park Zoo. But alas time ran out again and so we ended up paddling about the Lake rich in algal bloom. Interesting see which family members ...

    ... style cheese ) with onion and pepper a local specialty. There are many beer or wine cooked specialties all are delicious. My favorite is the roast goose. Dessert is obviously the apple strudel.

    Dinner for two is rather inexpensive at $ 40 USD and a beer belly.

What makes the trek feel tense if the fact that your oxygen intake will be considerably lower than normal (assuming you live relatively close to sea level).
