    ... that we had a failed hydraulic hose
    which meant the aircraft was grounded until the hose or the aircraft could be
    replaced. A replacement hose was offered to us through the good graces of Air
    Canada. However, as is the Canadian way, eh, they took their own sweet time
    about it.

    We all deplaned rather than sit on the aircraft. That was a
    good thing because our 45 minute delay became an over three hour ordeal.

    This will be a short one as I wanted to be sure that this process really works and yesterday's mailing wasn't a fluke. The whole process to use the iPad on the trip has been an adventure in itself. Tying on an iPd is tricky as the touch screen is very sensitive so it is easy to make a typo ao miss a space; so, we bought a wireless keyboard which took a little time to sync.
