... Not relaxing but very good. We went to a place called Westborn for lunch which is like a fruit shop that has a cafe in it. But instead of being served the food you go and pick it yourself. I had a tomato and veggie soup and Andy a chicken Caesar salad. Very delicious! Spent the afternoon at Henry Fords home called Fairlane and a mere 1300 acres then just drove around looking at the general area - it was raining again, but not too ...

Departed Niagara Falls after a leisurely breakfast in the hotel. It was raining so we thought it good weather for travelling. It was Thanksgiving in Canada so shops were closed - except for good old Walmart and it was a super centre so we decided to see what everyone was talking about. ... was up. It was a shame because this museum is a must if you are in Dearborn, and a day is the minimum you require. Jen was surprised at how much she enjoyed it and we both got a heap out of it. We left the museum at 11.45am and stopped in Jackson at a strip mall for lunch at 1.00pm. We went to a Panera where you can order soup, sandwich or salad. I had a Thai salad with chicken. ... We ate, talked and drank coffee until the restaurant began to turn off lights and close. It was 12:30. During the morning others drifted down to the restaurant and joined us. Bill Arbuckle, Gail Swope and Pam Swope, Diane Clark Armstrong and Karen Clark Nagy came a said hello. As we were leaving, some moved upstairs to watch the Michigan/Michigan State football game.
