    ... down our progress somewhat. We duly arrived early at our next stop in Lyndonville, which turned out to be a bit of a dump - the end of the world sort of place, with a grumpy greeting at the motel and a hike into town. The Diner, Miss Lyndonville's Diner, would pass its Health and Safety check and will be graced by our presence this evening for a haddock and chips (home fries) supper - "eat all you can!" We'll see about that.
