    ... one car at a time. This made for some nerve testing moments, especially since this is the only road up/down the mountain!
    Imagine two cars passing with a fraction of an inch between their side mirrors and a steep drop down with no barrier at the edge of the road! But don't let that scare you!
    If you get the chance to take the road to the top by all means do it! The views are breath-taking and will afford everyone a zen-like experience.

    ... along the river. Apparently it is NOT a loop trail. We almost ended up in the parking area on the other side of the highway. We did the basin years ago but I think we parked on that side of the highway because if you are heading north on the 3 you walk almost right to the basin itself and miss the rest of the hike if you stop there.
