... with Gary (a Jamaican shuttle driver we met when we flew here from LAX) to take us all to Jersey City. Well there was a major traffic jam on the freeway and apart from changing lanes all the time - you might get one car length ahead you know and then when we got out of the jam he took off - bloody hell he was VERY erratic - we were all very relieved to arrive at Jersey City 2 hours later!

Ah, that's enough shop talk, I'm boring myself. Came home, chilled out. Had sushi with my landlady Donna and sat on her porch chatting. Off for bfast together in the morning. Then I plan to go to the beach and explore Asbury Park. Who knows, I might even see Bruce Sprinstien at the Stone Pony...he likes to hang out around there apparently!

... the class new the software and the work and it would be extremely hard for me to catch up. But it was very easy to drop one class and pick up another. When I’ve introduced myself to the class they are so amazed and excited that I’m Australian, I’m like a little bit of a celebrity!

Going to college in the US and living on campus is very different to life back home going to University. Because I am living here, I am totally absorbed in the college ...
