    ... famed Wellfleet oysters. They were gorgeously briny and slid off the shells perfectly. Main course was forgettable so we went to another bar.

    Had a couple of super strong local beers and a couple of cocktails and went back to the dive bar where we started in the afternoon. The place had been transformed into a music venue and a band was in full swing playing some amazing jazz.

    ... Closed for the season. Reason? Freezing!". We must have missed it by a day as there was still rubbish in the bins.

    So we drove back to near our hotel and checked out a Jamaican restaurant. The jerk sauce was delicious and the owner spent the entire meal talking with me about cricket. I think it had been a long while for him being able to have this type of discussion so it was lots of fun.

    Afterwards we headed to the hotel and relaxed.

    ... green on grass. The dogs were calm and gentle the entire time. (Such a proud mama).
    Our entry into the park started with a 15 minute video about the natives and the pilgrims. How they did or did not get along, their customs, etc., then you are on your own. The entire park is open for exploration and the people that work there are character actors that dress, speak, and act like they did in the 1600's.     ... where on crossing the road we came across someone giving out free ice-creams. They went down an absolute treat. We then headed down to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall Marketplace where we sat on benches in the shade and ate our lunch. Everyone was wilting from the heat.     ... to let us go out for the night!! So there were 60 counsellors stuck in a camp with nothing to do. It was dull. For the night I stayed in a bunk with the JCs (counsellors who its their first year) as well as poppy and sophie. We sat and has chats before allie performed a meditation session which put us all to sleep! Haaaaa.

    Only afew more hours at camp!! Get me outta here! ...
