Today was one of the more challenging days I've had, mentally more than anything. I set out from Brooklyn a bit later than I would have liked and had to go back to Times Square to pick up my tent poles. I didn't leave the hotel until around 11:30 and still had 120 blocks before I'd arrive at the bridge to get off of the island. ... non-existent, and it was an easy drive listening to the radio and telling stories. When we got back into the city, even though it was the Puerto Rican Day Parade, we were able to cross the park at 65th street (talk about getting lucky - thank goodness we threw away those pennies!).

It was a great, quick, weekend trip, and I'm glad we got to drive around Princeton a little and tour the area. The weather was absolutely perfect.
