Saturday, 24 March: We left Helensville after a visit to the library and the requisite antique shops and headed north. My camera battery ran out of juice; so I took some photos with my iPad. I had to do it again I would have skipped Paihia, or maybe just gone
to Waitangi, stayed a couple of days in Russell, and stayed in
Auckland the rest of that time. I have decided I like just roaming
around new places, seeing what I encounter and being open to what
presents itself. No actual set agenda or tourist must do’s to
follow. I get back and do laundry and start getting all my paperwork
