Well, started writing this post on Saturday Evening... all packed and ready to go, guarantee I will repack about 10 times before we set off Tuesday, feel very much behind Barry who was so organised today! Now its Tuesday been to work (crazy I know), and repacked the hand luggage a couple of times pretty sure I have remembered everything, t-minus one hour until we leave for the airport! good bye for now all and we see you on t'other side of the world!

... to Zambia with Three bags weighing a total of 69kilos. My bag on the way back weighed 12kilos. Most of that is the resuscitation dolly and souvenirs.
Writing this as I go along so scratch the comment about efficiency. We were sitting on the plane waiting to go (I had just sent my last text using my last Airtel credit) when they announced that the number of bags didn't match the number of people so we all had to get off again ...

... to take home - she is SO lucky to get hand-me-downs from Freya. Poor Freya was really sad to say goodbye to some of her favorite things!

We dressed up for dinner in party clothes - Auntie Rachel did our hair and we looked great. It was a warm evening so we could eat outside. After dinner, Alice slept in Freya's room and I slept with mum.

It is so nice to see our cousins - we have LOTS of fun together.

... but it'll be good to get into work next week and get real deep in Hounslow. Sweet sweet. It's been fantastic to have quality time with the whole Team 107 crew, all of whom are characterful and comedy to the max. Classic lamppost accident from Neil today and church was an interesting experience, with a very pleasant priest, though he did tell the Filipinos that the Brits are not hospitable. Shame.

So, more to come!
