... in Capitol Hill from the airport in the snow, especially since one of the wheels on my bag broke off! After the long journey to our accommodation, we were so glad to be out of the cold. The place was really nice- however we noticed there was a lot of static everywhere! haha.

... our seats were the last row of the plane, of course. The flight attendant was so nice and offered to take Sebastian for a cockpit tour. I'm not going to lie, this was one of those times I was glad Sebastian wouldn't go anywhere without me. I think I was as excited as him. But he was over the moon when the pilot offered him his seat and told him to "fly the plane". He told daddy when we got back to our seats, "Bubba drive the airplane."

... ranges, ranches and mountains of Colorado. We passed over the inter-continental divide and even got to see a deer and coyote on the drive. The best part of the expedition was that we weren't having to drive or navigate! We've called it an expedition because the weather turned into a snow storm. It was cool driving into the snow flying at the windscreen. You know it's cold when the snow freezes to it before the windscreen wipers can wipe it off. Everywhere we looked was white! ...
