... to keep telling myself it wasn't sand, like we'd be used to, but was snow. Was amazing driving up through the mountain passes, the trees were covered in snow and the lakes were all frozen over. With all the snow on the roads we also got to see the snowploughs in action. They're pretty cool, but also make a huge mess.
