Fortunately we had an 11:35 AM flight from Madrid to JFK so we didn't have to get up at the crack of dawn. A direct flight is always better! We actually took off on time. Time to read trough my journal and look at some photos and start processing our trip. Always something that I do on a return flight. Thank you Steve Jobs! The iPad makes it so much easier. This was a wonderful trip! We saw and did so much and we were never exhausted. Tired some days by dinner time, ...

... at the end of the bed. He finally at
sunset decided to have a little walk about and I found him with a
mate touring all the others sites for food. Finally Pickles has found
        his inner wild side !

From the extreme point of the Hamptons
“Orient point” you returned to main Land close to Providence
through three ferries, so poor Pickles has one again to put on his
        sailor hat.

... the interchange at East Haven cause we may have taken the wrong exit (twice) and had to 'make a legal u-turn where possible and return to the designated route'. Geoff doing well with the right-hand side of the road driving but pretty tired cause it takes a lot of concentration. The B&B was nice and had a lovely view from our window across a small beach and bay. Owners were very friendly and helped us decide what to do in the next 4 days. Dinner, beach walk, bed. Surprise ...
