  • Good Japanese food.
  • Poor healthcare on the Big Island
  • A lot of people had tattoos - and these were the locals
  • A lot of the locals were not very bright - could not answer simple questions and did not offer to find someone to healp

    ... Liberty so we will tuck in there for 2 days and enjoy New York, we were very lucky to get in the owner of the brokerage place we bought El Nido from has 2 slips here and knows the owner :-)


    Sea Bright is a nice small town if the rain stops tomorrow I'll post some pictures.

    Tonight we are going to the local pub to watch the hockey game.

    GROAN! The best way to see NY is to walk - unfortunately.
    Today most of the museums were closed, but for some strange reason, the rebellious Guggenheim Museum was open. So we caught a cab there, taking Captain, who has strong connections with this museum. There was a very long line snaking along 5th Avenue, and around the corner into
    East 88th Street. How significant ! This was where " Lyle, Lyle Crocodile" lived ! I couldn't remember what number he lived at, though.
