... traffic is stopped one way while the other lane goes. Yes, traffic is stopped on the high part of the bridge or on the steep rise up to the top or on the corkscrew ramp. It’s like stopping at the top of the roller coaster. Boo, very scary. Jim’s knuckles were white on the steering wheel and Barbara’s hand cramped on the arm rest. We’ll only go to that side of the river and back one time!
... outside sunning a reading a bit. The book is “The Rez”. It gives you a good history about the Oglala Sioux on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota. A great read and very informative. The author has a real knack for verbiage and can be quite entertaining in the process.
