Heading out from RIYC bright and early in the club's land yacht, PITA (pain in the ass) started bright and early at 7am. Two years ago Hurricane Sandy caused huge damage to some buildings here along the boardwalk, and although now fully repaired, given the close proximity of the ocean, it will be inevitable that future big storms will again wreck havoc.
We were ready to leave after a light lunch and beer, whilst 'people watching' on the boardwalk.... back to the car , ...
10'x15'... the past 5 years, 2 bedrooms and 4 floors of our home is now crammed into a one cinder-block cell, the mail has been stopped (doubt I'll miss it) and tenants who will be kindly paying our mortgage for the next 12months are now moved in and we're officially "homeless".
Bethany Beach is where we'll be calling home for the next few weeks, until we jump out on the road at the end of July.
I could think of worse places to lay-low for awhile.

Back at Wildwoods we went for a walk along the boardwalk which was very similar to atlantic city with stalls of food, t-shirts and arcade games.
