... Again asking the guy behind the desk what was going on he simply said 'don't use Greyhound again' and that was it. We had to wait for the next bus at 10:30 which eventually showed up at 11:00! We let out a sigh of relief to be on a bus but after only about 1/2 an hour there was a loud bang which sounded like something had fallen off and the driver had to pull over to assess the damage. We got back to Toronto at 2:30am facing the hour walk back home! ...
... you can see the British influence, even the country roads and villages look English at times!
The weather has been very changeable, two afternoons & evenings we had thunder showers & at points heavy rain. Can't complain though as Toronto & Hamilton had high winds & rain but Barrie had a tornado touch down!!
Needless to say we are loving our adventure, finding something new round ...
... we headed back to the hotel. We didn't go through Canadian customs, but did have to go through US customs on the way back. We were tired from the long day of driving and it was colder and windier in Niagara Falls than we had thought.
The falls were amazing at sunset. We had a good view of them from the bridge, but were looking forward to exploring both the American and Canadian sides the next day.
Buffet brekky & then onto a couple of lookouts on the Canadian side of the falls. Once again hard to take good photos as the sun was low & there was an incredible amount of spray coming off the Horseshoe Falls. At one point I was getting absolutely drenched just standing at the lookout & have I mentioned how cold it was yet??? Yeah pretty damn cold! As the "Maid of the Mist" boat ride was shut down for winter we instead went into the tunnels behind the falls. There was ...

Drive on for another long stretch and we end up in Syracuse at Stella's Diner for lunch. I had Eat at a Diner on my list of things to do here so was very happy to do that on day one.
