A most incredible leg of our journey, surpassing expectations. Customs was relatively easy going into Canada (although surprisingly ended up being even easier when we returned to the states as Canada forced us to put our belongings through X-Ray while USA did no such thing) and after getting checked into our hotel (cleverly I picked one just around the corner from the station), we did something that seems a little silly and quintessentially American: ...

After a few hours we headed to a local grocery store to stock up on some supplies I am group B which is made up of myself, Betina and Jo. Our mission was to budget a meal of $50 to cook for 12 people, we racked up a bill of $70 oops! Only 5 minutes of fireworks, and we didn't get as close to the mist ...

I have personally seen the power of Nature through hurricanes and typhoons, Nor'easters and ice storms, dust storms and earthquakes ( a small one in Chula Vista, but an earthquake non the less), but none were as jaw dropping as the Falls of the Niagara River! We started our day with a quick trip to Ebb ad Tide Kennels to drop off Fox, then started our adventure to the Falls, the oldest state park in America, established in 1885. ...

... American border Bec received 20 questions about her employment. After locating another expensive car park on the American side, we bought tickets to the Maid of the Mist and shortly we were in our blue rain ponchos and on the boat. We got quite close and quite wet, it was a great experience. Bec scored a free ticket to the Maid of the Mist as it was Mother's Day and all women were getting in for free. Even up ...
