-----I owed one more "much thanks" to my friends Joanna, Art, Flora, & Aquiles for the place to stay in Chicago, as I returned home from Athens.

We also found a small diner with an excellent breakfast menu across the street while waiting for the clothes to dry. In the midst of one of the storms, Reyna (who had gone on a walk with Oriana and her mother) saw the Ex in the laundromat parking lot and ran over to see if they could get a ride with us. We all needed to do some grocery shopping so after laundry was done, we drove ...

      One Week Until Take Off

A travel blog entry by elsat on Jul 20, 2011

The trip is finally coming up faster than I can believe, one week and I will be back in the Philippines. It seems the Michigan weather is aware of this and trying to prepare me somewhat for the heat, but I am trying to hide out in the AC as long as possible.
I am also focusing on mentally preparing myself for the next 4 and half months. I know this journey will be long, but I am also confident that I can do ...
