    ... artists. One of my favourite bits was a sort of light show which used various different media to reflect light on the walls, and the objects themselves.

    Unfortunately part way through I had the joys of another migraine...but fortunately I was on the floor with the cafe.     ... jingle which he used to tell people to politely move out of the cycle lane. It was quite exhilarating really, but I was spent and chilled on the way back. I cruised up the East side river and also managed to find China town while I was at it. I did however choose not to dine there and made my way to a restored port, beer garden and Italian cuisine area. My meal was so unbelievably rewarding that I even included a pic in my blog. ...

    ... been repaired/replaced beautifully.

    After a lovely lunch, they took us to "their beach" where we spent a lovely time on a beautiful day. Returning for Margueritas and more visiting, was just wonderful; then, we headed for their son, Justin's, restaurant - Chicken Sensation - where we were treated to fantastic chicken, fried ravioli and jalapeno peppers.     ... ago. coming to the land of freedom for them, seeing the statue for the first time. She must have brought a tear to many eyes.

    It's actually quite small now that the surrounding buildings are so tall.

    There isn't anything to do on Staten Island, so we finished off our wrap, while awaiting the return ferry.
    The ride was uneventful, passing a few sailing boats and a few large cruiser style boats ...

    ... is great! It's a third floor walk up studio. It seems plenty big for a studio and has everything I need. So far I love having such a small space to take care of. There is washer/dryer combo, which is a luxury. And by combo I mean that the same machine does the washing AND the drying. It's like something from The Jetsons.
