... walked to the subway, not many people about and I made it to the platform just after a train had left, whoops. I'm meant to be on the 8am Staten Island ferry. I have to wait 15mins for the next train, I can only see a couple other runners so now I'm really worried I've missed it, but plenty more runners come and soon the platforms full. ... Centre and next door 911 memorials. There is no cost for entry and the area is open. A lot of people at the sites. Each of the two sites is totally taken up by a square in the ground with a waterfall on all four sides. The name of all the deceased are around the side.
