... York Knicks NBA pre season game against the Raptors (booked through ticketmaster $66USD). Amazing to be there, what an experience! Awesome to see Carmello Anthony playing in the flesh too! Unfortunately they lost by 5, close game they whole way. Madison Square Garden was an awesome stadium too. Also caught up with Kirsten Weir from Invercargill (sisters with Graces good friend Shelley) - such a small world!

New York - what a city, we loved it!!! Certainly clicked up a few ...

... Longchamp bags and we are ushered down to the basement. I blindly just go down the dark stairs without thinking anything but Jem and Hinesh were thinking "where are they taking us???" In the basement is a little room with all the fake handbags are kept. We find the Longchamp easily but Jem is like a kid in a candy store and sees a Dolce bag that looks cute on her. Hinesh and Jem find a little lady to start negotiations and the first offer is $115 for both. Hinesh says he won't pay ...

... we arrived at the ESB we bought tickets from a vendor on the street (again another stupid decision since I ended up getting charged twice the amount...). We went to the top and it was magnificent!!! The view was incredible, watching the lit up city from its' highest point. The wind was intense, you could feel the building sway. We also got yelled at for putting out heads through the fence to get a better view...

... train rides from the airport to the city, we grabbed a taxi - unfortunately at the busiest time of day, and the taxi driver didn't know where he was going. I had the street number for the Wellington Hotel, but obviously you need the cross streets as well. Mental note for any future trips!

So far haven't been impressed - can't see what people love about this place, but we're open to persuasion. It seems grimey, not rubbish ...
