We've stopped for the night but I'm still rocking with the motion of the train.... Left Virginia and headed north....passed Baltimore, Philadelphia, NYC...and made it all the way to Connecticut. What a day: Florida to CT ( Palm trees to snow) in 25 hours - ...

Sad to leave New York. Feeling very comfortable in this vibrant town. Everyone is cool, friendly, caring and helpful. We have had a blast. Hey all. Sorry I haven't been posting this recently. But been so busy with everything on camp just been so hard. So day 1 was fun, got to camp late on that night after spending all day in New York and Times Square. Had so much fun with all the guys who I had met at the hostel, walking around NYC was amazing. I saw so many things that I would never had dreamed of. Times Square was incredible, was massive all the shops and all the hustle from the locals. Just a massive London ...

      Day 1 - Essex, Connecticut

A travel blog entry by evie033 on Oct 26, 2013

Today we are set to go to Essex as a stop over before cape cod. Last night at dinner thought we might visit Yale, as it is on the way, sort of, and there is nothing else that was on the agenda. Before that we had another lovely breakfast prepared by Peter and we also had a great discussion over breakfast with not only the Aussies, but also the family of Americans. We chatted and had lots to talk about. Alas, it was 10.00am and had to start packing. Donna packed ...
