Robson Valley and sleepy McBride

This waterfall on the Fraser River is impressive and the sound totally deafening. The sheer force of water is so powerful you would want to be messing about in it! The white water and rapids created downstream from it are also mightily good as we watch a raft rock it's way down. We are also in the shadow of the Mt. Terry Fox Provincial Park for those that would like to know.

... the camper. The center had a very unique video room. It was designed like a room in a log cabin to let you get the feel for their experience they were promoting. The video played part of the time as a lady in a doorway and part of the time on a screen. It was very impressive for a small community like this! I'll have to remember the concept for us in Hazen if we ever get a visitor center.

The towns between Jasper and Prince George are few but we did find one – McBride – that was a pleasant surprise. Services of all kinds were available but we had stopped at the Mt. Robson Visitor Center to fuel (.93/ltr) so we drove slowly through. Most of the towns/villages along this route are dotted along the Fraser River.
