Except for our first 3 nights of travel, we had no set destinations each day. We had to make reservations in advance for the ferry across The Bay of Fundy so that is why we had destinations for the first part of the trip. Each night we would check out what was coming up next and decide on a destination - one day we were actually "travelling" for 10 hours but only got 140 ...

So, on and on...it goes.
It has become clear to me, money has wings.
Oh my gosh.....getting it all together will be a miracle.
But, I took a breather and enjoyed the beauty of a cheerful sunflower today.
The drive from Denver is a long one about 9 hours. Matt drove about 8 hours.
Before home we had to:
1) Pick-up my car from long term parking
2) Return our rental car
3) Most importantly, pick Octavius up from the Pet Ranch!
We arrived safely home at about 1pm on Saturday 7/12, about 14 hours later ...

The Route 66 part of the trip was nostalgic - many memories and reminders. We met so many great people.
