A small update on the weather: so far the temperature has varied betweeen around zero (which is close to tropical for me now, it means that you can actually go outside without gloves for 5 minutes) and -20something (which means that it is a terrible idea to go outside without gloves, a hat, a shawl and preferably some double layers of clothing). ...

For our second camping trip we headed out to Rideau Acres campground near Kingston. A nice campground although we we placed on the main road so a fair amount of traffic. Set up was much eaisier this time (we're learning) and we had a nice weekend just chillin'.

Breaking camp went well also and we were home around 3pm Sunday after an enjoyable drive home. Starting to get the hang of having the trailer behind, so far so good.

We built an Inukshuk beside the campfire pit. Still standing!

We've packed up the tables, BBQ and chairs, so we're ready to push out tomorrow, hopefully by 9:00. We're off to the Ausable Chasm, driving through the White National Mountain Forest on ...
