... Park is a beautiful drive and we enjoy the scenery very much. A little disappointing to not see any mountain goats or bear along this trip but the vistas make up for it. Tons of road construction!!! and it is crazy windy and raining at the summit; we are in shorts and tank tops so don't spend much time up there!

... and as we drove up the side of the mountain it got colder and colder and the fog started to thicken. There is currently roadworks up at the pass, and by the time we were 1/4 mile from the summit we couldn't see a thing, so we found a wide enough turnout and did uturn.
