A travel blog entry by sloancat on Jul 19, 2014

We loaded most of the food, clothes, etc. into the RV Friday, so there wasn't much prep to do (for me anyway) today. While I was at work in Stockton, Jerry got the Jeep hooked up and went to Subway to pick up a couple of sandwiches for later in the day. I got home from work around 150pm, changed clothes, and we were on the road by 2pm! ...

When I told them about my trip and that I would be stopping ...

I got off to a great start. I was able to ride 40 miles uphill in the rain which was all that i could have hoped for considering the conditions. I spent 30 minutes with the 8th grade class at Golden Sierra Middle School telling them about my trip and most importantly how to try to avoid using tobacco in the future. I ended my ride for the day in Camino, California. We stayed in the motor home close to a pizza place where we watched the Giant's ...
