    ... had eaten Alanna, one of the owners, took us into the Vineyard at the top of the hill. She brought with her some of the new C******nay and some wine glasses and we gathered around and toasted mom. It was really quite nice.     ... the indoor exhibits of quilts, painting and photography. To round it all Mark Twain himself appeared on centre stage and told us his story of the jumping frog which started the whole fair off 150 years ago.     ... Overlook trail. The trees were amazing. The sad thing in the forest is the stump of the biggest sequoia tree that was cut down for fun by 5 men in 1852. It took them 22 days to cut down the tree that was 1244 years old. It was 280ft tall and 25ft in diameter.
