      ... the plates of with cheese and then added some hot water to make the food warm. One plate even had some whipped cream on it. I was amazed about the care taken in preparing their food.

      After allowing dinner to digest, we ended the evening with a little time in their hot tub. As always, a visit with John and Earlynn is a fun time. They are great hosts and always make us feel special.

      ... for a few hours, it was nice to see them and get caught up on the past year. I had spent a long weekend with them last year and they continue to do well. Wade is working with a metal fabrication company now and seems to enjoy the new job.

      ... town of San Andreas, which is famous for the fault line where two tectonic plates meet and causes a lot of the earthquakes. The line was not visible from ground level in San Andreas, so we opted not to go there. There were a few other towns we stopped by for a short time, but they didn't exactly have an old town center.
