... We then headed back to the campsite, we put up the tents and made dinner, then enjoyed roasting marshmallows, although I didn't have s'mores this time. The campsite was nice, in between the trees, I slept well, and we were up early this morning, and we are now in the bus heading to Niagara Falls, sadly looking grey here at the moment, so hopefully the weather will improve as we get ...

... her sweet potato fries with honey. I went for a chicken finger wrap which was delicious. The restaurant itself was all wooden, with pictures and reliefs of hunting scenes adorning the walls, and horrendously stuffed fake eagles and bears.... It was cheesy and brilliant. After lunch, we drove north along the river and stopped at an overlook called 'Big Bend' where we stayed for a while watching the turkey vultures glide around on the thermals. They're ...

At Worcester, MA, we joined the Massachusetts Turnpike, which took us up through a series of hills, and goes up to 1724 meters, making it the highest turnpike in the U.S. Soon after this, we passed back into New York State, where we began to see signs for Montreal - we've come such a long way! The weather had started to clear up a little, but as we pulled off the ...

I could not sleep. After being awake for 22 hours yesterday I think I got about 3 hours sleep and I was up and dressed by 5:30 so even though I felt wide awake it is going to catch up with me. Lexx and I went down for breakfast at 6:30 where I met Hannah and then we congregated in the hotel lobby at 7:30. We found out our tour leader is a guy called Drew, he seems pretty cool and including me there are 12 people on the trek, Lexx, Lyndsey, Nicola, Molly, ...

... Auntie Denise's house in Aurora. It was a beautiful drive and we arrived at sunset. There was still some snow on the ground and it was pretty cold. The house was so beautiful like a house in a home magazine and Denise had cooked us the most delicious dinner. Nick was there and Steve and we had a really lovely evening. After catching up with them we were pretty tired from our day travelling so we collapsed into the big comfy beds. Talk to you guys soon.- Grace.
