... out the towns' Harvest Festival. Surrounded by hills rising 1,000 feet, this village is the focal point for seven natural glens which radiate from its borders, with more than a score of beautiful waterfalls, all located in this "valley of tumbling waters." The event was mostly rained out with an apparent large number of no-show vendors. However, the pulled pork was amazing and the Global Tacos offerings were unique and delicious. Imagine ...

A travel blog entry by peter-linda on Sep 06, 2014

We slept till 7.45am and then had a leisurely breakfast.

1/2 kiddie cone would never be finished by a normal child in one sitting. We
were too full for a cone but vowed we would return the ...

... towns, including Dannamorra, NY, home of the famous, or infamous, maximum security prison. The prison is located right in the middle of the town and we rode right past it's fortress like walls. Sort of gloomy, but also interesting from a historical perspective. Once we were on The interstates ( 86, 90, and 71) we rolled along pretty well with traffic light and the road construction zones quiet ...

Woke up about 7 to the sound of light rain on the tent. This was the harbinger of the day as the rain set in as a steady steam df moisture for the day, with occasional periods of "brightness" interspersed at various times. Very glad that we drug the awning across half the US and Canada as it provided the perfect spot to sit and watch the world. Breakfast at the rally is furnished by a ...
