    My first full day of adventure.
    So in preparation for my 14er within the two weeks, I went to the gym at 8am. Like what even. I pretty much died and then came home and did laundry, got lunch etc etc. Then Declan, Olly, Nardos, Hailey and I decided to head up to Horsetooth.     ... chronological order! Nevertheless, they did a good job with the murder, lynching and resulting ghost story, with Astrid recreating the position of the ghost on the spiral staircase. The moral of the story - heavy drinking leads to no good! Apparently, there was a strict curfew for under 17 year olds between 7pm and 7am right up until the late 1960s.

    ... Springs for the night. We decided to stop at Hot Sulphur springs for a dip after being cold and wet. It cost about $20 including a towel. They do accept AAA. It was on a hill side with many different size and temps of pools. I have to say it seemed a little run down but was relaxing and had plenty of people.

    Over all it was a great start of the trip and I couldn't have chosen better people to go with.

    I had a happy, busy and full Mother's Day. We went to early Mass, then came home and I began the dreaded task of completing the packing. Ed worked in the yard mowing, edging, trimming and getting the vehicles washed while I packed. It is more difficult than usual to pack for this trip, because we need clothes for very warm weather in Greece and also for the cooler, wetter weather we expect to encounter in France ...
