We made our way to the main entrance and paid for our tickets. Mine, at $17.95 was two dollars less than Cheryl’s. One of the only good things about getting old. But man, did they have to print the words 'SENIOR CITIZEN’ in such big letters on the ticket?!?

... I was not a happy camper at this point but you have to be nice to them. So I called my crew scheduling and told them this gate agent wouldn't give me a seat, said it's a full flight. They weren't very happy either. He told me he'd call me back, he was going to call dispatch and they would get it taken care of. She he called me back about 10 minutes later and asked if I had a seat ...
