... chosen to stay at Canmore which is a few miles away but much less touristy and cheaper than Banff we have a lovely studio apartment so well equipped and in beautiful location on the edge of town, surrounded by mountain scenery. It's mainly a residential area with lovely houses with amazing views. The outdoor pool is a bit small and circular so the hot tub seemed a better ...

Standing in the centre of town you felt insignificant in comparison to the towering mountain ranges that surrounded it. Gracie was not feeling well today, a mixture of too many quick changes in altitude and constant travelling from place to place. She decided to have a ...

... Olympic athletes and a weekend escape for people who live in Calgary. Our aim was to enjoy and experience as many winter activities as we could. And that is what we did!

Snow shoeing, cross country skiing, downhill skiing, ice fishing, ice climbing, dog sledding, and skating and of course: ice hockey. The kids were allowed to practice and play with the Canmore Eagles hockey club. It was great. The main reason to stay in one place for a bit longer was to ...
