      ... fascinated by patchwork shops and I this town has an internationally famous one with a vast display of patchwork material and kits , so I bought a little Christmas hanging to do as a memento of my holiday but I doubt if it will be finished for this Christmas or the next or ever?       ... Bear Street. There we had some of the best gourmet pizza that we have ever had. Very light. The really different trick that they had was to serve their pizza with both a container of honey and a container of hot pepper oil. The idea was to put a little of each on a plate and dip your pizza much as Italian restaurants do with seasoned olive oil and herbs with their bread. I can't tell you how very good this was! Yum!

      Early start for our last breakfast in Calgary then off to a mall to buy a suitcase as want to bring home some wines from the Okanagan and our two bags are already full.       After all that excitement, we had to have a quiet day. A dip in the hot springs, a trip up the gondola to the top of Sulphur Mountain for lunch and beavertails for dinner. Yummm... Beavertails. Don't worry, it's not really tails of beavers, just a delicious pastry treat.
