Stayed the Night in Newark and then returned home today. Unpacked and did a batch of laundry. We felt good until mid-After noon and then we felt the jet lag. Took an afternoon nap and not too much later off to bed. Errands, etc tomorrow! While it is good to be home. We departed the Lowell area across Hwy 2 towards Western Massachusetts, entering the Mohawk Trail across the Berkshires. We were welcomed with beautiful color, muted by the rains, yet nothing like we have seen before. I shot some iPhone photos which are below. We looked for possible campsite but everything was shut down for RV's like us.

... feeling blessed by the treasured gift of family and fellowship that Jo and Phineas offer, I realize that my 2014 journey has come full circle. The Fiske home, fondly named by Maura as "Chez Bayberry" in Cummaquid was my last stop in CC before hitting the road. J & P's send-off and care package launched my travels and now, they welcomed us Home with open arms.

... dead battery, call MTC, she is quicker than AAA!

On our way out of Stowe, we stopped at the Waterbury Cabot Cheese Creamery factory outlet. Maura and I helped ourselves to the myriad of cheese samples. Our taste test revealed Seriously Sharp as our #1 choice, even though we macked down alot of the premium cheeses: Farmhouse Reserve, Alpine Cheddar and Everything Bagel.
The drive down to Western Mass was smooth sailing ...
