    ... hotel we were greeted by a bear in Floyd, IA. And in the clouds I saw my deceased dog Angus waitiung for a belly rub (this comment is mostly for my dear dog friends who follow my blog). The days are getting more exciting. I am writing this at night after a great day that will go into print later. I hope you enjoy these.

    ... pictures we captured on first day in Millennium park : the LED fountain has thousands of LEDs and changes. Other sculptures are optical illusions. Vapianos for dinner, identical in every way to vapianos in Sydney. Around 9 pm we left for the greyhound bus, and at 1040pm boarded an overnighter for Mason City, Iowa.     We are camped at a nice city park, row after row of Minnie Winnies. We get to sleep in it tonight but they won't trust us with the keys until we go thru the orientation tomorrow morning.

    1st up, the maze. This was much more fun than we anticipated and took us about 41 minutes to complete where the average was 45 minutes so we did a bit better than the average. We split up into 2 teams, boys vs. the girls. The boys won of course but the girls were literally only a few seconds behind.
