... was not especially busy on my Friday lunch visit, but the main building was hopping with students d’cuisine and wannabe students on tour in the limited public areas. Cheffing is a hot career nowadays, something I’m sure is helped on by all the food-oriented shows on TV.

The problem was that it was down in a valley so getting out of the valley with icy roads would have been a problem. During the summer there was the Houstonic River that ran along side the town. This place was beautiful during the fall. Also saw Bull's Covered Bridge. Too bad they did not have a campground ...

... anyway. After they left at about 6.30 we got Pizza ordered in, there was sooo much food. There were about 6 boxes of different types of New York Pizza, it was so delicious. There were loads of other snacks; crisps, cookies, 'candy' etc. After I was soo stuffed of Pizza and snacks the ESY staff pulled out a birthday cake for both me and Nick. It was so kind of them. They were HUGE cupcakes, mine was bright bright green and had soo ...
