    ... Breakfast called The Charlston, right in the midst of the Village. After a long hot shower we wandered down to the village for a look around. It was absolutely charming. We stopped off at 'Bentleys' for supper/drinks then back to settle in for the night. As we approached the porch a skunk scurried across our path, too quick for a photo unfortunately, but was another critter to add to the list.

    Today was a good day exploring Vermont. We saw lots of great covered bridges. Designed like this to stop the bridges getting icy and also to preserve their longevity.
