    We woke around 7:45am to footsteps. The guest? It slowly transpired that there were actually 3 extra 'guests' in the other room. The man I saw the previous night was glimpsed again though the open door, a woman who I 'met' because she didn't lock the toilet door, and another man emerged as we were leaving. Quite where all these people fit in this tiny, poky condo, and why they were all there, we have no earthly idea. No eye contact was made, no explanation ...

    Today was a good day exploring Vermont. We saw lots of great covered bridges. Designed like this to stop the bridges getting icy and also to preserve their longevity.     Today Lin had to go back to school so she lent us her car and Jesse, the awesome navigator. Jesse really wanted to take us up in the gondola at Mt Killington, one of the ski resorts in Vermont.
