      ... unused. There was no guard in the booth when we pulled up; he came out of the administration building to check our papers. It took maybe five minutes to clear customs and get directions to Highway 10.

      We had dinner at a restaurant in Quebec. The children had the experience of eating in a place where everyone spoke French, and the only words they recognized on the menu were 'hamburger' and 'pizza'. Fortunately, the staff spoke English quite well.

      After getting our baby out of cold storage it is time to get her ready for a new season of exploring. May 16-20: Our first trip this year is with the By-towners back in Brockville at the Happy Green Acres campground.
