We are tired. We stopped too briefly at Merrickville, we moved on hoping to find a mooring at Burritts Rapids, but no luck. The wind picked up in The locks at Burritts Rapids and we scratched the corner of the starboard stern side. Getting to the car was a challenge and then leaving the parking lot was another one. Once we got out of the area, we brought Mom back to her apartment and then headed home to rest and then go to bed.

While driving back to Brockville, we thought we'd stop in Walmart when we got back to the city - get something to eat and go back to Mom's apartment to eat.

Once I got over the line I phoned the man who was waiting for me to get there to check out his car. No phone in Canada either... I'd had no phone, no GPS and very little internet for three days, to be back in touch with the world (let's also include with English-speaking people in that) ...
