We left the shopping behind and went to the Indy Racetrack. We learned a little history about the place as we rode around the track. Not a lot to report today. Just an in transit day - riding from Cleveland to Elkhart, Indiana - which is on the old US 20 highway. The motel was behind a gas station and a fairly heavy industrial area.
Wandered over to a local Applebees for dinner.

Trip mileage estimated at 3400 miles now. Cruising eastward bound. Saw Fueled up twice. Stopped at the nicest truck stop, in Ohio getting ready to get back on the road. Just entered Indiana . Almost 9pm, going to stop to eat, after an ill fated attempt to get KFC at a rest area... Only to find out Sbarro took the space .... Poppy was very disappointed to say the least. So, back to good old Cracker Barrel... Maybe.... Running out of time ...

In visiting Goshen we saw something very unique - a Police Booth - set in front of the court house on a corner of main street. The booth was erected in 1939 to protect the city from gangsters who might come in town!
I'm finding that blogging is like homework: you don't always enjoy doing it but you are glad when it's finished!!! Enjoy!!
