... on their third bottle and he opened another for when we got there. We had a couple of glasses and got to know the other people a bit. One couple was from England, the other from Switzerland and the third from Germany. Then we went to the beach and had a nice swim in the very cold water and laid around people watching. They sure do love their cricket, somebody is always playing it on the beach. We are now back in our little suite at the back ...

A travel blog entry by ben.croft

... last few kms and I eventually arrive at Cumberland River where the others are awaiting Kath&Collis to deliver the baggage. Everyone is late today as its such a big day of climbing and we are all buggered! I bump into Annie who will be spending the night in Lorne up the road with a friend of hers so she is keen to get her stuff too. We walk over to the beach over the road as I have thrown down the gauntlet to go swimming this late in the day and no one thinks I can do it! ...
