... amazing scenery and you really can't beat driving the ocean coast for a few hours while making a few stops along the way. We started by going to the Twelve Apostles, then down the street to a wildlife park. The park was mostly all open concept, aside from a few of the animals that I would personally want a fence between them and I, so we could go right up to them and feed and pet them. Kangaroos, walibees, ponies, donkeys, emus, wombats, dingos and sheep are among ...

Ken had Indonesian beef satay, with mint and pickled veg, at outdoor deck cafe with cockatoos and parrots flying around! Beautiful beach, and suspension bridge over the river. Saw a kookaburra, and cockatoos and ...

We are so happy that we were able to spend 3 days slowly touring through the area. We highly recommend it to anyone travelling to southern ...

... stop the Spanish pulled up in the car park space directly alongside us! We had managed to get ahead of them at some point and managed to get away before them making our way to the famous ‘Twelve Apostles’. And what an amazing view, it looked so surreal as though the scenery had been super imposed. The Twelve Apostles are huge sandstone sea stacks surrounded by the sea and surf. Some have fallen ...

... and creepy crawlies on the wall and floor. yuck. Apollo bay was lovely but the evening we were there was fairly blustery. The next day we headed off towards Lorne. It was such a lovely little town. it had a gorgeous beach and loads of little shops and cafes along the beach front. We got ourselves some milkshakes in a beachside café and sat admiring the place for ages! We went up to the highest point in Lorne called Teddys lookout. It had a cool view back over the road ...
