... 8217;s. I am through my line sooner than she is so we trade places and I get her coffee and a box of K-cups, in case the hotels have a Keurig. Within 15 or 2 minutes we are back on the road.

Heidi is in communication with a friend who lives in Calgary. She has planned that we will stop for a few minutes to visit. We get the directions to the rendezvous point with instructions to call or text when we get to Airdrie, but her friend is impatient and ...

... making sure it is still tightly secured to the roof. It can get very windy on this road....there are no trees to break the wind!!! There is a huge wind farm west of us, but it is so hazy, I couldn't get a good picture. We just set a record getting through the border...five minutes....no lineup, we had all our purchase information ready and passports opened and ready...good day to go through. I imagine that tomorrow and the coming weekend will be very different! ...

... after our last trip so hadn't thought to verify that before we left. Fortunately we got a border guard who wasn't too diligent and after the usual questions about where we were from and where we were heading, only asked us (twice) if we had ever been arrested. No questions about the dog (thankfully). We may need to get a certificate emailed from Nibsy's vet to get him back ...
