    My father said he used to stay with his family in shabby rooming houses, and I vaguely recall a lot of Ocean Grove having a slightly shabby look about during visits in the 1980s. Nowadays, though, the town is completely spruced up and the B&BS, inns, and private homes are as well-kept and pricey as anywhere along the shore.

    Stationery (snail mail takes about 1 month to arrive if NOT the rainy season)
    ..and of course, the basics but shampoo, underwear and the like doesn't make for an interesting read.

    My good friend of 20 years told me once, that I only travel to places where there is a possibility of 1) injury or 2) disease. Boy was she right.
