... Woah! What an experience. The bar was chockers in no time flat and before we knew it we had Nashvillian after Nashvillian coming to talk to the Aussies at the bar and buying us drinks...including our first ever Tennessee cinnamon whiskey called "fireball". Met up with Rob for lunch and as is his responsibility on this tour he found a great restaurant called 'Chili' (I know surprise huh considering his love for hot food) for lunch and it was just yummy!

... and we were taken through into a bar to sample some of the whisky types. Lynchburg sits in a dry county, and the distillery has only in the last couple of years had the authorisation to allow taste testing on the premises; even then, you are given no more than one shot of alcohol. We were given three to taste; the Gentlemen Jack, Single Barrel and –instead of the regular No.7 Black label – as it was St. Patrick’s day we got a special Green label version. This ...
