    ... s ABSOLUTE favorite- chocolate marshmallow ripple! We ate too much but not all of it, (really, not all of it). A quick trip into the visitor center and off we go! Well with a few more stops... a big sailboat marina, one of the Mississippi River locks, a fantastic Buena Vista photo opportunity, the Nelson Creamery where we bought some cheese curds, (they squeak on our teeth) and dinner in Trempealeau. Not a lot according to a map, but a lot for trip ...

    Sharan and I started our journey to South Dakota early - we had about a 10-hour drive ahead of us, and I couldn't wait to get started. We had already packed the Honda Pilot with our camping gear and dry goods - all that was left to add was the cooler and we were ready to go!

    ... in the White House...and who did he call first? Alexander Graham Bell...that's who! And Lucy began the Easter Egg Roll on the White House lawn.

    They both died in the Spiegel Grove house and are buried only a few steps away from the home. My only regret is that they only get 10,000 visitors a year. I remember Lincoln's Home getting 10,000 a week! I tell you, if you are anywhere near Fremont, Ohio and don't stop by this place, ...
