Homecoming 2012
A lot to add for today - we had a great time! But first, a story from Dave Colees. Seems Dave had a bad day a while back...you know, one of those days that just doesn't go your way? He is driving along and doesn't quite stop in time and taps the car ...
Dayton to Illinois State...back to Normal
Got an early start and made it back to Normal in time to have lunch at Avanti's. Better than we remembered...gondolas and sausage sandwich. AC & Ham Whit just look sad. Empty, gray, dark and lonely. *sigh* The new res center where Walker was is fantastic! Kudos to the student staff - very welcoming and helpful with a quick tour. Great to see all the decorations for Homecoming, not just on campus, but businesses with the windows painted, info, etc. Nice ...

I learned that Huntsville was the home of Sam Houston. Very cool stop.
Then it was on to ...
